AI Use

I have never, and will not use AI to write my blog posts or other site content. The maximum extent that I might use AI is to review what I write, similar to how might ask a person for feedback. Then I might ignore it, just like any human’s feedback! The whole point of this site is that I write it myself.

No Guest Posting

Please stop emailing me about this. The whole point of this site is that I write it myself. I will never publish your guest post on my website.

As you can see at the bottom of this page, the text content of this site (along with any images accompanying articles) is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. This means, in a nutshell, that you can copy, modify, and redistribute anything I write here, so long as you:

1. Provide attribution, and
2. Agree to distribute your modifications under the same license.

The reasoning here is simple. I write because I enjoy it, and because I hope that the things I write about may be helpful or entertaining to others. If more help or entertainment may be brought to others by improving my work, I would love for that to happen, so long as I get credit for my work, and so long as others have the chance to continue the cycle of improvement.

I would prefer for my blog posts not to be used as training data for AI models. However, I understand that ship has sailed. I expect that AI systems built in part using the content of my site will at least be written in a way that respects this license by providing attribution when they regurgitate my content, and by licensing any derived work appropriately.
